'Gotham' Season 3 News, Spoilers: New Villains To Appear In Upcoming Season?
Most of the villains who appeared in "Gotham" season 2 will continue to appear in the next installment of the series.
The final episode of "Gotham" season 2 revealed that Fish Mooney was actually alive. Towards the end of the finale, Mooney drove into Gotham City a busload of monsters which were created by Hugo Strange and escaped the Indian Hill facility. While some of these monsters will still pop up in season 3, a new set of villains is expected to be featured next season to wreak havoc in the city.
According to "Gotham" executive producer John Stephens, The Mad Hatter and another young female villain who uses her sexuality to lure men will be featured in season 3. He also confirmed that fans will see Talon, Solomon Grundy and the Tweedle brothers.
Asked about the outcome of the monsters' release in the next installment, Stephens said, "The nature of the city of Gotham will change."
A teaser photo for the upcoming series also hinted at Bane's appearance. While this must be an exciting news for fans of Bane, some believe that it is unlikely for him to become part of the next season considering how difficult it is to get the rights to the character.
Fans of the series also wonder if Jerome will return next season. His character was last seen in season 1 when he was killed. Some fans consider the possibility of him being one of Hugo Strange's experiments that will be resurrected in season 3.
"Gotham" season 3 premieres this fall on FOX.
