Despite being a new Batman spin-off, 'Gotham' has been quite impressive so far. While the television drama series shows young Bruce Wayne witnessing the gruesome killing of his parents, James Gordon is the real hero of 'Gotham' Season 1.

According to Christian Today, the producers of the show have been successful in presenting a masterly job by turning the Penguin and the Riddler, who emerge as the main villains in the Batman series, into characters that were least expected by the fans. Evidently, with the airing of each episode, the twists in the series become more interesting.

In fact, passionate fans of 'Gotham' can compare the television drama series somewhat as a blend of 'The Sopranos' and 'CSI.'. 'Gotham' incorporates the typical mafia and investigative scenes, which have proved to be interesting to the viewers.

The latest twist in 'Gotham' Season 1 comprises a two part episode with plenty of plots. According to the spoilers, fans will see the Scarecrow's father being introduced in the upcoming episodes. At the same time, they will see Dr. Gerald Crane unveiling several terrors residing in Gotham and it seems that he will also be revealing some origins regarding how the Scarecrow come to pass.

In the second installment of the two part episode, fans will se a different side of James Gordon - something different from the usual stuff that several viewers may have seen him during his days at the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD).

Having taken control of the Arkham Asylum, now James adopts on a more flexible task wherein he will be living with both good as well as bad decisions. Gordon will now have a new love interest in Dr. Leslie Thompkins and can now make more calculated actions.

According to the report, the upcoming episode titled 'Scarecrow' will also show Edward Nigma (who is well known as the Riddler in Batman movies) gradually turning into the antagonist, which he is known for.

In addition to this, the upcoming episode is also expected to have other plots such as Fish Mooney and Oswald Cobblepot continuing to strive for power.

'Gotham' Season 1 Episode 15 titled 'Scarecrow' will be aired on Monday night, Feb. 9, on FOX TV.
