This week's episode of Gotham, called "The Blind Fortune Teller," the audience's intrigue grew as more characters were introduced.

The Flying Graysons characters are acrobats in Hay's Circus. Avid fans of the Batman stories know that this circus employs the Graysons until the death of characters John and Mary. Their Dick Grayson, who is also shown in this episode, is also an exciting add to the mix as fans know him to become Batman's sidekick, Robin in the comic series. The episode showcased these characters by having them fight in an acrobats vs. clowns brawl.

News about the show introducing Joker stemmed as the character Jerome (played by Shameless' Cameron Monaghan) showed more and more signs of being the famous villain. Other characters rumored to be the Joker that could be hiding in plain sight include Ed, Fish, Barbara or Jim.

Matt Fowler from IGN said of the character Jerome, "Okay, well. If Jerome was The Joker then it's not much of an origin story, right? Because he pretty much is already The Joker, just without the makeup and purple suit."

The creator of the show, Bruno Heller, told sources that the episode begins the Joker's origin story. According to The Hollywood Reporter Heller said, "He may or may not be The Joker, All I can promise is that's not a bait and switch. It's a long game we're playing here."

A lot of speculation is still is play and viewers are excited to see when the Joker and hopefully more of The Flying Graysons story will be shown to light in the coming episodes.
