'Gotham' Spoilers, Cast News: Milo Ventimiglia to Play DC Comics 'Ogre'?
The 'Heroes' alumni actor Milo Ventimiglia has been cast to appear in FOX's 'Gotham' series as a possible villain.
"Ventimiglia has been a TV mainstay for his entire career, and his most recent projects were the shortlived crime drama Mob City and the ongoing Crackle original drama Chosen. He'll soon be seen on ABC's sci-fi drama The Whispers, as well," writes Cinema Blend.
The actor will be playing Jason Lennon aka 'The Ogre' and will make his first appearances of many in episode 19.
"Handsome, wealthy and seductive, the Ogre is a serial killer who has been preying on the young women of Gotham for nearly a decade, luring them into his web and confronting them with a series of 'tests' as he searches for his perfect mate. When the women fail to live up to his impossible standard, Lennon disposes of them quickly and viciously," writes Variety.
His confrontations with women will not only be described as a flaw but an obsession which brings a realism to his character that we may have not seen on the show as of yet. This will also make the dynamic between him and his adversary, Jim Gordon ever more interesting.
Ventimiglia's character is said to share a nickname with a certain DC character but it has been reported that it won't be related.
The list of iconic villains on 'Gotham's roster only continues to grow as we've already seen The Penguin, Falcone, and Victor Zsasz, but we've been notified that we should also expect The Red Hood, The Dollmaker, Scarecrow, and even a hint at the The Joker all within the first season.
