‘Gotham’ Cast News, Spoilers: Fish Mooney's Quest for Queen of Gotham in ‘The Anvil or the Hammer’ [VIDEO]

Although Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), the expectant queen of the FOX television series 'Gotham' has lost an eye while she was in captivity of Dollmaker (Colm Feore), it does not suggest that she will be losing her battle.

Latin Post reports that recently the executive producer of the hit series 'Gotham,' Bruno Heller, teased about the villainous Mooney and her fate. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Heller revealed some details about the Season 1 episode 21 titled 'The Anvil or the Hammer' that will air on April 27. He said, Mooney has become more confident as well as resilient than before. Helled added, "She comes back at a moment of crisis where Faclone and Maroni are in open conflict with each other. She has the possibility of running the whole town."

Mooney has never demonstrated any trait of mercy so far and will now struggle with everyone who defy her and stand in her way, counting Sal Maroni, Carmine Falcone, Det. James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as well as her former protégé, Oswald Cobblepot, alias the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor). In addition, Heller also shared that, in the upcoming episode, fans will see more of the conflict between Mooney and Cobblepot, which has been boiling throughout the Season. He said that the conflict will eventually end with a showdown on the rooftops of Gotham, but refused to reveal the victor.

Meanwhile, numerous fans of 'Gotham' have been speculating that Cobblepot is likely to be declared the champion, especially because Pinkett-Smith has hinted that she will not be returning to 'Gotham' in the next season. Nevertheless, Heller cautioned that fans should expect the unanticipated as one can never be sure what will take place in city like Gotham. At the same time, the executive producer assured the viewers that the series will be interspersed with "a very iconic moment."

In 'The Anvil or the Hammer,' viewers will see Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle discovering evidences regarding the Wayne murders. They will also see Cobblepot embarking to kill Don Maroni, while Gordon will be searching the entire city for Barbara Kean, who will soon be victim to a murderous enemy named Ogre. In addition, it will be disclosed that Edward Nygma is the responsible for the murder of Tom Dougherty.

The upcoming episode of 'Gotham' titled 'The Anvil or the Hammer' airs Monday, April 27, at 8:00 pm ET on FOX.
