Gospel Trio God's Chosen Releases New Live Performance Lyric Video For Latest Single "Even In the Valley"
St. Louis-based recording artist God's Chosen (GC3), comprised of Zebrina Anderson, NiKeisha Whittier, and Sarah Benibo, have released a new live performance video of their single, "Even In The Valley." The song is a cut from the group's Billboard charting, self-titled third album released in June, which landed at No. 11 on Billboard's Current Gospel Albums chart.
Written by GC3, John Strandell, and Logan Miller, the video for "Even In The Valley" was performed live at Grace Church in Maryland Heights, Mo. The anthemic song is a declaration to give praise even in the midst of turbulent times.
"Even in the Valley" is my favorite! It reminds us that God is God no matter what we go through," says Zebrina. "It's set to an 80's track and makes you feel good even if you're going through a bad situation."
Enlisting the help of producers Strandell, Levi "Too" King, and Aayron Lewis, the group's latest album has been described as marked by "creative blends of melody" and "something for the world." With songs like "Redeemed," and "Love Lifted Me," the group hopes to continually uplift believers and introduce a loving God to the unchurched.
"Our prayer is that songs like 'Redeemed,' 'Love Lifted Me,' and 'Grace Is Running' remind the listener that God is for us," Sarah explains, "not because of our works, but because He chose to love us by no merit of our own and there's nothing we can do about it!"
NiKeisha adds, "We want our music to be easily taught, to be performed at any church and reflective of what we love. This album is for congregations who love to worship through song."
