Gospel Artist & Father Of Suicide Victim, Conrad Miller, To Present New Project, Keep Pressing, At CD Release Concert On Saturday, May 4th
Conrad Miller has experienced grief very few can imagine. At the age of sixteen, his daughter, Lauren, who had been dealing with depression, took her own life. Her death was the impetus for Miller's Gospel music career, as he came to the realization of the brevity of life and the gift of music placed within him. For Conrad, it was only the healing power of God that brought him through the life-altering experience. In spite of the tremendous loss, Conrad Miller has learned to Keep Pressing, the title of his brand new CD.
The singer's official CD release service will be taking place at his home church, Second Baptist Church of Doylestown (6055 Swamp Road, Fountainville, PA 18923), on Saturday, May 4th at 6PM EST. The concert is free and will feature the crooner singing tracks from the new release. After the CD release event, fans will have an opportunity to purchase the project, getting their personally signed copy of Keep Pressing.
The CD's lead single, "I Need You", has been "feeling the love" on Gospel radio stations across the country, already placing in the Top 100 on the BDS and Mediabase Gospel charts. The bouncy and infectious track recounts Conrad's desperate need for God in the face of trials and tribulations. Miller's sophomore project was produced by GRAMMY, Dove and Stellar Award winner, Steven Ford, and includes other cuts like "Our Prayer", "He'll Never Let You Down" and the inspirational title tune, "Keep Pressing".
"Everybody needs encouragement," shares Miller. "Even though I am so excited about what we've done musically, my hope is that these songs touch and bless people. l want people to be uplifted; I want them to feel God's touch in their spirits after listening to Keep Pressing." Miller also covered two well-known songs on the project, "Amazing Grace" and "Center of My Joy". Ford and Miller penned a number of cuts on the album as well. In addition, songwriter Jacki Cordery was brought in to share her tunes, "I'm Living" and "Without Fail".
