Gospel Artist Conrad Miller Releases New CD
Gospel Artist Conrad Miller was introduced to the Gospel music community with his debut release, My Journey.
"Songs like traditional quartet offerings "Momma Prayed For Me" and "Amazing" and the soulful ballad, "Breathe On Me" inspired gospel listeners across the country and were heard on hundreds of stations nationwide.
Now the Philadelphia resident is dropping his sophomore release, Keep Pressing. With this offering the classically trained vocalist is showcasing his vocal flexibility.
GRAMMY-winning producer Steven Ford (Richard Smallwood, Stephen Hurd) produced Miller's second album. Miller said he hopes the album will encourage those who hear it.
"Everybody needs encouragement. Even though I am so excited about what we've done musically, my hope is that the lyrics touch people. I want people to be uplifted; I want them to feel God's touch in their spirits after listening to Keep Pressing," said Miller.
Keep Pressing contains a mix of soulful, heart-stirring songs including "He'll Never Let You Down", "Our Prayer" and the inspirational title tune, "Keep Pressing". Miller also covered two well-known songs on the project, "Amazing Grace" and "Center of My Joy".
Ford and Miller penned a number of cuts on the album as well. In addition, songwriter Jacki Cordery was brought in to share her tunes, "I'm Living" and "Without Fail."
Miller has been in love with music since starting piano lessons at the age of five. He began singing seriously at age 12, ultimately becoming a member of the R&B group, The Soulful Seven, signed to MGM Records.
He received his musical education at Fort Hays Kansas State University studying voice and did his graduate work at the University of Michigan in voice and opera. He's sung at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and throughout Europe.
