GoPro Hero 5 Release Date News, Leaks: Newest Case For Deeper Underwater Exploring?
There are new leaks regarding the much anticipated GoPro Hero 5, including a new casing that will allow the user to explore much deeper under the sea. However, official news channels have yet to confirm this leak.
Techno Buffalo shared some of the leaks as it alleged that the GoPro Hero 5 can still be used as much as 10-feet underwater without causing damage. This waterproof design was only available for the Session 4.
But those who want to go even deeper may opt for the accessory, which is a kind of container that will protect the GoPro Hero 5. Again, you can take this news with a grain of salt until you hear an announcement from the company.
Meanwhile, there are other features as well for the GoPro Hero 5 based on the leaked images. One of the more conspicuous changes is the missing Power and Mode button up on the front. It may mean that the controls will be found in the LCD screen.
There also seems to be a USB-C port and a removable battery, which is said to last longer than its predecessors. As to the size, it's going to be a little bigger at at 62 mm x 44.6 mm x 33.7 mm.
In other news, the GoPro Hero 5 will also reportedly have voice command capability as well as auto-save function in the cloud, which saves a lot on your storage. Among the voice commands are "GoPro start video," "GoPro take a photo," "GoPro start time lapse," "GoPro turn on," and "GoPro turn off," which are all self-explanatory.
