GoPro Hero 5 Release Date News: Launch Reportedly Stalled to 2016 Because of Fine Tuning of Features
GoPro Hero fans eagerly waiting for the official release date of the company's upcoming Hero 5 camera will be disappointed to know that the launch of the much anticipated device has been stalled. According to Gazette Review, it seems that the earliest the device could come out would be the end of 2015.
Christian Today reports that while the delay could prove to be a let-down for people who are eager to see the widely talked-about features of Hero 5, it may also be worth the wait.
Latest reports suggest that the delay is owing to the fact that the GoPro Hero 5 will supposedly be armed with the competence to record 8K resolution videos at 60 frames per second (fps) as well as to shoot in 3D mode.
Irrespective of whichever of the two abilities the GoPro Hero 5 will actually have hardly matters for now; but it is important to note that GoPro Inc. is endeavoring to make it right since the company tries to carry on offering devices to surprise their customers.
Meanwhile, people who are unable to wait for the GoPro Hero 5 to be made available on schedule may try alternative products from the company, which include the recently released Hero 4 Session as well as the Hero + LCD.
A small action camera, the Hero 4 Session has so far impressed as well as garnered positive reviews from users. The popular features of this camera include its ability to record videos for up to two hours.
On the other hand, technically, the GoPro Hero+ LCD is the cheaper version of the GoPro Hero 4 and it comes with a mounted LCD at the back. This camera has the capability to record videos at 60 fps with a 1080p resolution.
As the release of the GoPro 5 has been stalled, fans of the company's devices may content themselves with the currently available Hero 4 Session and GoPro Hero+ LCD.
Originally, the GoPro 5 was scheduled for release on Oct. 5, but considering the fact that the company is not fully convinced that its upcoming action camera is 100 percent ready, the delay may possibly extend to as far as early 2016.
