As 2014 has finally closed, Google, the most famous search engine wanted to remind Internet savvy people what they have been searching all throughout the past year. On that note, Google has recently released the 2014 Top Celebrity searches.

There were so many surprises on Google's "It list" for 2014. As some thought one certain celebrity would be the most searched, Google surprised everyone with another name, one that makes sense when considered thoroughly.

On the top of the list, the most searched is apparently actress Jennifer Lawrence. While so many thought it would be Kim Kardashian because of her recent "breaking of the Internet," it was Lawrence who had also been busy in several appearances for her film and with her relationship status.

The announcement shocked many but when thought about, Lawrence did have a busy year with 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' being premiered. Along with that, Lawrence had to do several appearances and so many red carpet moments.

The top 10 Trending actresses in the U.S. are as follows: Jennifer Lawrence, Renee Zellweger, Betty White, Ellen Page, Kim Novak, Margot Robbie, Jacqueline Bisset, Lena Dunham, Melanie Griffith and Lea Thompson

The top searched actor on the other hand was Jared Leto followed by Michael McConaughey, Macaulay Culkin, Chris Pratt, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Jamie Dornan, Alfonso Ribeiro, James McAvoy, and Laurence Fishburne

Meanwhile there was also a list of the top 10 Trending Celebrity Pregnancies in the U.S. which of course topped by actress Mila Kunis, who just had her baby with fiancé Ashton Kutcher. The list goes on with Ciara, Kourtney Kardashian, Kate Middleton, Kerry Washington, Carrie Underwood, Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere, Blake Lively and Eva Mendes.

Not only that there was also a list of trending losses from the past year headed by Robin Williams, and the top 10 Red Carpet Looks on Google which is topped by Rihanna, the trending songs with "Say Something" as the most searched, and many more including the trending celebrity weddings which is topped by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding last year.
