Google Pixel Deals, Price News: Major US Carriers One-Up Promos To Entice Customers

Major US carriers T-Mobile and Verizon are offering Google Pixel deals in order to entice customers into availing of their products.

The Pixel starts at $650 for the unlocked phone, which means you can go to any carrier like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint and they would all accept your device.

But T-Mobile announced its own promo, which includes a 50% rebate on the price you pay for the phone, which translates to about $325.

John Legere, president of T-Mobile, said other Google Pixel deals simply fall short of what their network provides.

"The Pixel phone is tested and proven to be fantastic on our lightning fast network, and we want to help you get the best of both worlds," he said. "I'm a huge fan of what Google has done with the Pixel and now consumers can use it the way it should be used - with truly unlimited data on the fastest 4G LTE network in America."

The Google Pixel is the first phone from the company to offer the Google Assistant which, by all indications, is the standard that Apple should have done with its Siri.

For its part, Best Buy's Google Pixel deals include a new Chromecast, which retails for $69, along with $100 gift card.

Meanwhile, Verizon also has its own promo.

According to Fortune, Verizon is offering $400 rebate as part of the Google Pixel deals, but only if people will also trade another smart phone. The largest US carrier, meanwhile, is rewarding loyalty by offering $300 to its existing customers.
