As Nexus 6, Google's latest product in the Android sector, is gearing up for its upcoming release this month, some techies are looking to other places when considering getting a high-end smartphone.

While some consumers are looking to scoop up a Nexus 6 when it comes out, others are considering the Motorola DROID Turbo.

On the other hand, Google Nexus 6 is heavier by only 8 grams.

Both cell phones are neck-to-neck with each other on several grounds. They're splash resistant, have dual LEDs, 64 GB storage capacity and several other similar factors.

The DROID Turbo will run at a price of $199.99 with a proper 2 year contract.

However, PC Magazine reports that the off contract price for Nexus 6 at the moment is $649. According the Verizon there is an entire comparison list which lists DROID's price as $599.99 for the moment.
