Google Nexus 2015 Specs & Release Date: Will LG or Huawei Make the Nexus 6 Successor?
As Google's flagship handset, the Nexus 6, will soon be completing a year of its existence in the market, new rumors have emerged regarding the search engine giant's purported Nexus 2015. While Google has yet to make any official announcement in this regard, it is expected that the new handset will arrive either in October or November 2015.
IB Times reports that while Google continues to remain silent on its upcoming smartphone, speculations regarding the purported device flooded the Internet since the launch of the Nexus 6 in 2014. According to DigitalTrends, a well-known Chinese mobile industry analyst has asserted on the Weibo social network that Huawei is currently working on "a Nexus phone with a 5.7-inch touchscreen," perhaps with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, and equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
As of now, there is no confirmed information about the Google Nexus 2015, but it is worth mentioning here that Huawei was associated with Google before the release of the Nexus 6. Later, Google tied up with Motorola to make its Android smartphone.
Earlier reports stated that Google may possibly leave Motorola, the maker of its present flagship device, and revert to LG, the maker of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, for its future next-generation smartphone. In addition, speculations were there that the device could incorporate some features of the LG 4, such as QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 along with IPS Quantum display technology, camera features, as well as color spectrum sensor, provided the South Korean electronics giant collaborates with Google again.
It is believed that Google will offer some information regarding the Nexus 2015 at its upcoming annual conference Google I/O 2015, where the company is scheduled to unveil its latest software.
