Google I/O 2015 News: Two-Day Annual Developers Conference Starts May 28

The Mountain View-based search engine giant Google has just announced on its official website that it will hold its annual two-day annual I/O Developer Conference 2015 on May 28 and 29, 2015.

Christian Today reports that Google generally uses its annual developer conference to announce its latest tools as well as services designed for software developers across the globe. The developers also utilize the occasion, especially during their allocated inspirational talks, to appreciate the products of the company.

The event will begin with a registration period starting on March 17 up to March 19, where registrants can get a chance to win a ticket for the event by lottery. This is a new method introduced by Google as the tickets for last year's Google I/O event was sold out less than an hour after the tech giant announced its schedule.

A recent post on Google's official website reads, "Applicants will be selected at random to receive the opportunity to purchase one ticket. The orders in which applications are received has no bearing on the outcome and remember, only one registration application per person is allowed."

Apart from the seats that will be offered to developers through a raffle following the registration, the search engine giant will also offer a limited number of seats for experienced media personalities and reserve some seats for its special invitees.

This year, Google is expected to make an announcement regarding Project ARA, the modular-designed smartphone that is supposed to be pioneering news for the smartphone industry, at the upcoming I/O. In addition, the company may utilize the opportunity to talk about the next edition of Android - the Android M. Google launched the Android Lollipop at the 2014 I/O Developer Conference.

It is expected that the Android Wear will also be discussed the upcoming event.

In order to register for the event, interested people ought to have a Google account to fill up the application form. People whose names will not feature in the raffle can watch the event live via streaming during the conference.
