Google Glass 2.0 Specs, Price, Rumors: Will This Second Version Be A Success Or Another Disappointment?
When the first Google glass was launched, a lot of people didn't buy in to the product. The glass was even banned in a lot of public areas such as restaurants and strip clubs. Apparently, people didn't like a to be "caught on cam" randomly. Hence, the very first version of Google glass was pulled out.
Despite the failure of the first one, Google didn't give up on the device. Now, they are releasing another version of the product. This time, the product has a small green light that would turn on and off so that people would be aware if the camera is in use or not.
According to Design & Trend, Google made a few changes on their design as shown in the filings with the FCC (Federal Communication Commission). They have also made more changes such as moving the device's power button to the back of the head piece and as well as adding a hinge to conveniently slip the glass inside the pocket of the person using it.
Also looking at their market, Google thinks that the product would be better suited for business users instead of every day consumer. The first Google Glass had a price of $1,500. Expect the second one to be more expensive because it will most likely pack stronger internal specs which includes a more powerful processor for business purposes.
According to Gizmodo, there really isn't much change on the products physical looks. Will this product be a success this time or will it be another disappointment from Google?
