Golden Globes 2015 Latest News Update: Nominations List 'Gone Girl', 'Downtown Abbey'

The 2015 Golden Globes will take place on Sunday, January 11th, and a laundry list of celebrities are set to appear at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the awards show.

On that note, the stars will come together, both as nominees and presenters. The show will be hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, the second year in a row the two funny women will team up for the show. George Clooney is set to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, an honor bestowed upon actors who exhibit outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. Don Cheadle and Amy Adams are set to present the award to Clooney on Sunday night.

Among the nominees for Golden Globes are 'Selma' and 'The Theory of Everything', for Best Motion Picture-Drama; 'Into the Woods' and 'Birdman' for Best Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy; and How to Train Your Dragon 2' and 'Big Hero 6' for Best Animated Feature Film.

In terms of television, 'Downton Abbey', Game of Thrones', and House of Cards' are all nominated for Best TV Series-Drama. 'Girls' and 'Orange is the New Black' are nominated for Best TV Series-Musical or Comedy, and 'True Detective', 'Olive Kitteredge', and 'Fargo' are some of the nominees for Best TV Movie or Miniseries.

Actresses who have been nominated for Golden Globes include Rosamund Pike for 'Gone Girl', Felicity Jones for 'The Theory of Everything', and Emily Blunt for 'Into the Woods'. 'Birdman' star Michael Keaton, 'The Theory of Everything' star Eddie Redmayne, and 'Selma' star David Oyelowo are some award hopefuls.

Besides the awards, viewers will tune in to see the fashions worn by the stars before the show begins. All the action can be seen on NBC, with the awards show starting at 8 pm.
