'God Of War 4' Release Date News: Game To Include Button For Kratos’s Son, Close Camera Angle

Sony's "God of War" is set to come soon and in line with this, new details have surfaced, such as a button for Kratos' son and a change in the game's camera angle.

According to Game N Guide, the title is set to have a new button, which is exclusive for Kratos' son. As per the publication, this button allows gamers to control him and help Kratos in combat through exploring the region, solving problems, and performing traversal.

Sony Santa Monica Gameplay Engineering Lead Jeet Shroff disclosed information on "God of War 4's" son button. In an interview with Game Reactor, Shroff said that the son button was one of the face buttons mapped directly to command the son in combat, to fire arrows at targets that Kratos had engaged with.

The engineering lead also said that the button enabled the player to control not just Krats, but also the youngster, who would have a pivotal role in combat

Aside from the son button, "God of War 4" is also set to feature a close up camera angle. In the same interview with the publication, Shroff said that the close camera gave them opportunities for not only intimate an personal storytelling, but it also influenced combat in a different way. He added that they were looking at different avenues of how they could use both the camera, but also the combat experience molded around it.

Developed by Sony, "God of War 4" is set to see mutual education, with Kratos as a mentor to his son on how to become a god and his son being a mentor on how to become a human.

Overall, "God of War 4" is assumed to be released in 2017.
