Legend Disco Queen, Gloria Gaynor reveals Upcoming Gospel Album and Book "We Will Survive"

Disco queen Gloria Gaynor will be releasing her first ever Gospel CD. Gaynor, known for her platinum disco hit "I Will Survive", earned a Grammy for Best Disco Recording and was one out of twenty-five songs inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2012. "I will survive" went on to be inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and gained recognition as the No.1 song  in Vh1's Top 100 Dance Records of all times.

With little revealed about Gaynor's upcoming project, we don't have a title for the album just yet, but the Gospel album will be released along with a book titled We Will Survive. Through her career Gaynor has received thousands of personal messages from fans that praised her for her release of "I Will Survive" and how the song helped transform their lives on a positive side.

The book We Will Survive is going to feature forty of the inspirational stories about survivors of all kinds.

During an interview Gaynor spoke on her decision to do a Gospel album saying, "Recording a Gospel album was something I've wanted to do for years, but my manager and husband kept putting me off. Now that I'm in control of my own career, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and combine the four things I believe I was created to do - sing, write, teach, and share my faith."

The album will be released on November 26. Stay tuned for more music news and updates.
