Radio host Glenn Beck recently slammed Fox's racy animated series 'Family Guy' after the long running cartoon depicted Jesus trying to lose his virginity in a recent episode.

The 50-year-old Everett, Washington native intensely expressed his frustration with the adult cartoon mocking Jesus in the "The 2,000-Year-Old Virgin" episode.

"Let me explain something about bravery. It is not brave to do the things that the elite and the powerful agree with. Can you tell me one man that has changed the world for the better, made people more peaceful, more decent, more honorable than Jesus?," said Beck on his show on The Blaze radio network.

"But every great act, every great, truly great freeing act was inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ. Why would we take down just that man? Why would we make him into a joke?"

The former Fox News Channel host compared the blasphemous portrayal of Jesus to the actual ridicule the Savior suffered at the hands of mankind 2,000 years ago.

"Why not just put [Jesus] up on the pillar again? Why not just whip him and beat him? Why not just publicly humiliate him, why not just tear his clothing from him, spit on him, and when he asks for water, we give him vinegar?," said Beck.

The character depicted as Christ, in the episode, tries to commit a sexual act with protagonist Peter's wife, Lois. This contradicts Jesus' teachings regarding adultery highlighted in the Bible.

"After running into Jesus at the Quahog Mall, Peter is stunned to discover that the Son of God is still a virgin. So, he enlists Quagmire and Cleveland to help him throw Jesus the best birthday ever by finding a way to help him become a man," according the official synopsis of the episode that aired on FOX on December 7.

The devout Mormon media personality quoted Jesus when he further expressed his views regarding the provocative series created by notable fervent atheist Seth McFarlane.

"Father forgive them, they know not what they do," said Beck.
