While Glee fans know Rachel Berry has not been having a great couple of months lately, we think it's time for the Glee star to lighten up a little. How about a little romance to fire up the sixth season of Glee?

It's no secret that Rachel is depressed. First, Rachel earned a starring role in a new television series... that did so badly it was kicked off the network before the season was over. Then, Rachel's dads told her that they are getting a divorce. The former Glee club member, sinking into depression, returned to her safe haven, McKinley High School's Glee Club, only to find out it was being closed down. She needed a kick to transform her life, so she decided to revive the school's Glee club with her close friend, Kurt.

The new Glee Club is getting better and better. It has four solid members so far, and the original Glee Club members have returned to help spruce it up a little. Santana and Brittany got engaged, and Kurt is slowly getting over the absence of Blaine in his life.

Now, Rachel is ready to get over the hump in her life. She and Sam will be performing a sweet duet together in the next episode. The pair will be singing Vanessa Carlton's hit song, "A Thousand Miles." The romantic melody, lyrics, and atmosphere could spell from some love sparks in Rachel and Sam's future.

Besides the romance, "The Hurt Locker, Part One" will focus around Rachel's attempt to hold back Will's Glee Club from the invitational. The episode will feature songs by Meredith Brooks, B-52, and Devo.
