Fox network's "Gleeks" are surely excited about the return of 'Glee' on January 9, 2015. Beyond that, many rumors have surfaced about the developments fans of the series can expect when the show returns.

Rumor has it that the network will air two back to back episodes in an attempt to revitalize the fan base and draw in more viewership.

Stepping back, fans can recall that the series took quite a hiatus following the death of 'Glee' star Cory Monteith, something that the other cast members are still struggling with to this day.

However, while many of the actors and actresses on 'Glee' keep Cory in their hearts and in their minds, they understand that the show must go on.

Moving forward, there are rumors saying that Santana and Brittany will return for the sixth season and some are even saying that a wedding is in the works for them. Fans can remember that these two had a lesbian relationship when they were still in high school and have since then been an on-again and off-again couple.

While they've been in and out of each other's lives, had boyfriends and girlfriends, but they always seem to get back together in the end. Clearly, in the sixth season, fans have a good chance to them finally happy together.

Additionally, rumor has it that Blaine and Kurt's relationship will begin to develop further as well and they will also be hearing some wedding bells during the sixth and final season. The spoilers are saying that there could be a character returning who will bring some trouble and possible heartache into Blaine and Kurt's relationship.

The creators have been hinting that it is possible that they may break up again, but everyone loves them together, so in the end, they will most likely live happily ever after.

The only thing fans can do is wait for the final season of 'Glee' to air on Fox, finally bringing closure to one of the most popular series on the network.
