Fox's high school choir drama 'Glee', is in its final season and the network has already released its premiere and finale date.

The season finale of the "dramedy" will premiere at 8 pm EST on Friday, January 9, with a two-hour episode and will end after 11 weeks.

The entire season will have 13 episodes, which will air at 9 pm every Friday on Fox. The show will officially end on March 20 at 8 pm EST with another two-hour episode.

In addition, E! News learns that there will be no mid-season breaks on the show.

Several members of the original cast will appear in the season finale, including Diana Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark ailing and Jayma Mays.

Nene Leakes is also expected to guest star of the show again.

Originally, the season finale of 'Glee' was supposed to be a 22-episode season, but Fox decided to drop it to 13 in July.

The sixth season of the show will focus on Lea Michele's character, Rachel, as she returns to Lima after her unsuccessful attempt at being a TV star in New York.

Upon coming home, Rachel learned that Sue, played by Jane Lynch, has finally succeeded in her long time goal of removing the arts at McKinley High.

Despite the fears of fans about the end game of their favourite couple, 'Glee' showrunners said there is no need to worry about where the characters will end up, especially in regards to Kurt and Blaine's relationship.

"It's Glee. Be happy. It's going to be OK," said the show's co-creator Brad Falchuk.

In addition, co-creator Ryan Murphy said in order to reach a happy ending, there is a need for obstacles.

"I've spent a year learning what they want. We have a list in the writers' room that says, 'What do the fans want to end that show?' And our endings are all very uplifting, and I think by the end of it, people will be ecstatic and really thrilled by how things turn out. I am," Murphy told E! News.

Meanwhile, Naya Rivera posted a picture of a wedding veil in Instagram on Friday, which she captioned "exciting day on the set of Glee." The teaser pic has led fans to believe that her character, Santana, will be tying the knot with Brittany.

However, the report added that Santana and Brittany may not be the only "Gleeks" who will get married in the season finale. Although Fox has yet to either confirm or deny the report.
