'Glee' Final Season 6 Release Date, Spoilers Promo: Song Clip Precedes Series Premiere [VIDEO]

Even though fans are excited about the upcoming sixth season of their favorite musical drama, 'Glee', some are saddened at the idea that it's the final season of the show.

Stepping into what fans can expect to see in Season 6, Blaine (Darren Criss) and Rachel (Lea Michele) are shown in the first full performance released from the final season. The new clip shows the two former New Directions singers with the all-male Warblers group covering Ed Sheeran's "Sing." The clip is only one part of the two-hour-long season premiere that airs on January 9th.

To fans' excitement, Blane has returned this season to be the coach of the Warblers. He is seen performing alongside his fellow acapella group members in the dance routine for Rachel. Although Lea does not sing in the clip, she is sure to make great headway in the sensational sixth season of the drama TV show.

This new season will have a lot of excitement in store for fans and non-fans alike. After a brief time-jump, we will return to 'Glee' to find that Blaine isn't the only New Direction glee club member making new strides in his music career.

Will, played by Matthew Morrison, has also left coaching New Direction behind to become a coach for Vocal Adrenaline - New Direction's greatest competition!

However, Rachel hasn't given up on her old school yet, even though she did have to give up her stint on Broadway, at least temporarily. She wants to bring the new New Directions glee club back up from the ashes in the sixth season. Last but not least, Kurt, played by Chris Colfer, has returned to help her shape up this group of high school singers!
