After having quite an interesting year, it has been confirmed that Giuliana Rancic will be stepping down as the host of E! News.

However, she will continue in her role as the co host of E!'s Fashion Police and Live from the Red Carpet. Starting August 10th, Rancic will no longer be the daily anchor of the news outlet.

Rancic released a statement about her decision.

"For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and I will miss my family at the show," said Rancic. "At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show, Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level. This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life."

Rancic's fans will not be without her considering the fact that she does continue to work on her two other shows on the television network.

Rancic's decision to step down comes months after she was criticized for making comments about Zendaya on Fashion Police, which were considered by many to be inappropriate.

The co host of the fashion critique show stated that the young star's hair looked like it would smell like weed or patchouli.

Although Rancic apologized for her comments, fans did speculate that she would opt not to continue with the show.

She also engaged in a public argument with one of her former co hosts, Kelly Osbourne, who left the show soon after.
