According to Ecumenical News, the third season of the hit television drama "Girl Meets World" is set to tackle issues on being a teenager, which includes high school life, drinking, and love.

"Girl Meets World" creator and showrunner Michael Jacobs also revealed his thoughts on what fans could expect from the show's season 3. In his interview with The Wrap, Jacobs said that high school would not be an easy adjustment for the cast. He also mentioned that it was the most confusing, terrible, awful, and wonderful "springboard" into college and the rest of one's life."

For Jacobs, fans are set to focus on high school life, adding that such episodes were what he wanted them to remember.

In other news, Shelton, who plays Josh in the series, is set to return in "Girl Meets World" season 3, Vine Report reported. As per the publication, the actor had been removed from the series' second season, due to an accident. With his full recovery, Shelton has been re-included in the series' cast, presumably for a change in the storyline and to make his fans happy.

In the same interview, Jacobs added some details about Josh. He said that they were going to use Josh to add growth and texture to the other characters, along with his revelation that the season is set to have mature storylines that involve underage drinking and sex.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 is currently filming; however, exact details on additional cast, characters, plot details, and release date are yet to be revealed.
