'Girl Meets World' Season 3 Premiere, Spoilers: Showrunner Michael Jacobs Teases Next Season?

Fans of the series "Girl Meets World" felt bittersweet upon the finale of Season 2. But amidst the success of the last season are the reviews stating that the show "was lousy with malaise and overstatements." Despite that, Season 3 preview is already teased by the showrunner, Michael Jacobs.

IGN's verdict was not quite impressive, claiming that the Season 2 did not meet viewers' expectations. They highlighted the final episode which was dubbed as "Girl Meets Legacy" as having an "overdramatic" start but failed to roll up the credits.

They also stated the Riley, Maya and Lucas' love triangle was not remarkable. Though they already graduated from middle school, IGN went on to explain that the event between the three character was "the weakest point," which was left hanging at the end of the second season.

But despite the opportunities cited in the series, which might be improved in the next season, the website stated as well that "Girl Meets World" Season 2 has some highlights like how they sent off some characters who are essential to leave the show.

There might be more room for deviating the show, because the head of the series, Michael Jacobs, revealed the teaser for the upcoming season. Jacobs told The Wrap that the love triangle problem will be addressed on Season 3, but not the focal point of the whole arc.

"It will span probably a third to a half of Season 3. Not as the primary focus, but always as an underlying thing in existence for the characters." He further elaborated the anticipated season on the website.

More news about "Girl Meets World" Season 3 soon.
