'Gilmore Girls' Revival News: Release Date Will Be Announced At Television Critics Association Press Tour

A decade since the last time it was seen on the small screen, "Gilmore Girls" is set to return with the new title, "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life."

The new series has already wrapped up filming and its cast and crew are now bracing up for their much awaited press tour, where fans expect the announcement of the official release date for their favorite series.

Ever since the revival of the series was announced, fans have been waiting for updates on its release date. Rumors have it that the series will premiere around a certain holiday, but nothing has been confirmed yet up to this date. However, fans are hopeful that the creators of the series will finally reveal the much anticipated information on July 27 during the Television Critics Association Press Tour.

The press tour will serve as the first promotional appearance of writer and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and Alexis Bledel, so there is a huge chance that the premiere date of the series will be announced there.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" will include four 90-minute-long episodes, and each episode will represent a season of the year. According to reports, all of the original cast members will reprise their roles in the show, except for Edward Herrmann who passed away last year. In the original series, Herrmann played the role of Richard Gilmore, the patriarch of the family.
