The new promotional photos for "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" reveal the return of Milo Ventimiglia as Jess.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will pick up nine years after the events in the previous season's finale, which aired in 2007. Each part in the four-part revival series will feature a different season in the life of Lorelai and Rory, collectively known as the Gilmore girls.

The premiere episode of the upcoming series will see Lorelai and Luke at a crossroads, Rory dealing with her career issues and Emily, and Lorelai and Rory coping with the sudden death of the Gilmore patriarch, Richard.

Recently, the series released some promotional photos featuring the favorite Stars Hollow residents, as well as the friends and family of the Gilmores. The photos revealed that Milo Ventimiglia will be back as Jess, and he will join Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Danny Strong, Yanic Truesdale and Sean Gunn in this highly anticipated reunion. 

In his interview with E! earlier this year, Ventimiglia said being part of the revival was like revisiting the character of Jess again.

"It's interesting stepping away from a character and then going back to them. There's something about Jess that I always appreciated. It was at the very end that I thought for whatever angst, whatever broken spirit, whatever sly behavior he had, who he was at his core was a very, very good guy," he said.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" airs on Nov. 25 on Netflix.
