'Gilmore Girls' 2016 Premiere News: Luke, Lorelai Shippers In For A Treat?

It won't be long before fans finally get to see Lorelai and Rory again.

As the "Gilmore Girls" revival draws near, fans are getting more and more thrilled to watch the lives not just of the Gilmore girls but the men that left a mark in their lives as well.

Avid fans of the series cannot deny the chemistry that Lorelai has with Luke. As the show returns, 57-year-old actor Scott Patterson, who plays Luke, teased that their shippers should expect an exciting scene between the two in the upcoming installment of the series.

"We did it in one of these four chapters. There are two that are penultimate Luke and Lorelai scenes. It will be the scenes to end all Luke and Lorelai scenes. They are just fantastic. I haven't seen them, but I've been told," he said in an interview with US Magazine.

While Lorelai will have an exciting love life in the revival, Rory will catch up with a man from her past. According to reports, Jess, played by Milo Ventimiglia, is set to return to the series. His intentions for coming back remain unknown up to this time, but it is possible that his return is to rekindle his previous relationship with the younger Gilmore girl.

The last time that fans saw Jess was in season 6. That time, he still had feelings for Rory.

"It was a blast, it was a lot of fun," told Ventimiglia, referring to his return.

The actor revealed that he has stayed very close with the show creators over the years since the initial run of the series, and he was so thrilled when he learned that there's going to be a revival.

Ventimiglia also commented that the revival will be a "classic Gilmore."

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is set to premiere on November 25 on Netflix.
