'Gilmore Girls' News: Lauren Graham Treats Fans To 'Gilmore Girls' Memoir; Book To Release In November

Fans are already excited for Lorelai Gilmore's return, as "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" makes its debut on Netflix this November. But aside from her return, another exciting treat that fans of the character can look forward to is the "Gilmore Girls" memoir that Lauren Graham is currently writing.

The actress is writing a memoir detailing her experiences on "Gilmore," not just during the show's original run from 2000 to 2007, but also during the filming of the new revival episodes this 2016. The memoir will be released four days after "A Year in the Life" hits the streaming service.

The autobiography is titled "Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between." The title apparently goes well with the signature motor-mouthed banter of Lorelai and Rory in the series. What is more exciting about this memoir is that it focuses mainly on Graham's iconic role as a Gilmore girl.

Written by Graham herself, the official synopsis for "Talking" reads, "This book contains some stories from my life: the awkward growing up years, the confusing dating years, the fulfilling working years, and what it was like to be asked to play one of my favorite characters again. You probably think I'm talking about my incredible achievement as Dolly in Hello, Dolly! as a Langley High School junior, a performance my dad called 'you're so much taller than the other kids.' But no! I'm talking about Lorelai Gilmore, who, back in 2008, I wasn't sure I'd ever see again."

It goes on, "Also included: tales of living on a houseboat, meeting guys at awards shows, and that time I was asked to be a butt model. A hint: all three made me seasick."

"Talking as Fast as I Can" is set for release on November 29.
