'Gilmore Girls' Netflix Revival News & Update: Things Won't Go Quite So Well For Rory

It seems like things will not go quite so well for Rory Gilmore in the upcoming revival of "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix.

During the Television Critics Association summer press tour, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino gave some hints as to what fans can expect from Rory in the upcoming series.

"It's this idea of, you hit your 30's, you did everything right--you went to college, you had the good grades, you worked really hard--and yet somehow life isn't turning out the way you wanted it to turn out. And because the world is changing so quickly, I think that's something a lot of very well educated thirtysomething kids are going through. They're turning around going, I did it. I did the homework. I did the finals. I did the whole thing. I know the s--t. Why am I not getting where I need to go?" he said.

The last time viewers of the series saw Rory was when she turned down Logan's marriage proposal because she wanted to be a reporter on Obama's presidential campaign. Avid viewers of the series know very well that Rory is an ultimate planner and goal-setter, and she moves mountains just to get what she wants. And fans know that after turning down Logan to pursue her dream career, she got the job. The big question now is-- what could it be that Rory's looking for that she still has not gotten yet by the time she's in her thirties? What makes her think that despite all her efforts, she is still not getting where she thinks she needs to go?

In other news, the Rory-Jess-Dean love triangle will continue in the upcoming series, so fans will see Rory as she struggles to choose between the good guy Dean and the bad boy Jess.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" premieres on Nov. 25 on Netflix.
