In line with the "Gilmore Girls" reboot, "All in the Family" actress Sally Struthers and "Deep Impact" star Michael Winters is set to join the cast ensemble while various locales in the girls' world have been revealed.

Struthers and Winters are two of "Gilmore Girls'" "most-beloved" supporting characters, will reportedly return to the series' reboot, according to E! News. They are set to join Kelly Bishop, who plays Emily Gilmore, is returning, along with Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), and Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore). Liza Weil's Paris Geller and Rose Abdoo's Gypsy were also returning.

Aside from Norman Lear's comedy drama "All in the Family," Struthers is also known for her roles in Sam Peckinpah's action crime thriller "The Getaway," and the comedy series "Nine to Five." Aside from her role as Babette Dell in "Gilmore Girls," she is also set to appear in Q. Allan Brocka's musical "Waiting in the Wings: Still Waiting."

On the other hand, Winters played Taylor Doose in the 2000 version of "Gilmore Girls" and he is known for his roles in Tom Holland's 1993 drama thriller "The Temp" and Mimi Leder's action sci-fi "Deep Impact."

In other news, fans had a glimpse of the iconic locations from the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" reboot. As per The Hollywood Reporter, fans are set to see again the Casa de Gilmore; Sookie's house, which could be inhabited by ghosts; the town gazebo, the place of Dean's wedding; and Miss Patty's lodge, the cradle of the famous dance school and where Dean cheated on his wife.

The "Gilmore Girls" remake is set to have four episodes, each having 90 minutes run time, according to TV. The publication added that the episodes will correspond to the four seasons - "Winter," "Spring," "Summer," and "Fall."

With the comedy-drama series now in progress, exact details on additional characters, cast, and release date are yet to be revealed.
