'Gilmore Girls' Cast, News: Back On Netflix, Someone Falls In Love?

Our favorite mother and daughter duo is back -- this time on Netflix.

Cancelled after seven good years of female drama and pop culture talk, "Gilmore Girls," is getting ready to be back in a new format and platform -- and TVLine can't stop itself from dropping spoilers.

Lorelai (Lauren Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel), Emily (Kelly Bishop), and Luke (Scott Patterson) are all here again and one of them is ready to fall in love, teases "Gilmore Girls" cast and TVLine owner Micheal Ausiello on Dec. 17 on his column "Ask Ausiello."

Some viewers are hoping it's Rory because fans may not be prepared for Emily falling in love too soon after losing Richard, played by the late Edward Herrmann whose role will inevitably be written off the show.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on Luke and Lorelai's love story. "Gilmore Girls" ended without the two ending up together. Perhaps it's not too late, reports US Weekly.

Moreover, the Netflix special will come back in a new form. More like a movie rather than a series, it will have four 90-minute episodes.

"Gilmore Girls" first aired in 2000 and was cancelled on its seventh season.

The American comedy dwells on ambition, education, work, family, and social status.
