‘Ghost Recon: Wildlands Beta' Release Date News: Open Beta Is Available Now
The "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" beta has just been opened but there's no news yet on how one is selected to participate.
You can sign up here to participate in the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" beta. There's nothing in the website that will give a clue as to how this will proceed.
In the game, you play an elite group of warriors called Ghosts who will travel incognito to Bolivia to take down the Santa Blanca cartel. You will also bash some heads of the corrupt government officials while you are there.
You can pre-order the game and get a bonus mission titled The Peruvian Connection. The description reads, "Travel to the high mountains of Bolivia to break the deadly alliance between the Santa Blanca and the Peruvian cartels."
Just recently, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot shared the news about the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" beta program.
"It can be a revolutionary game, and to compare with The Division last year, it's in the same trend actually," he said during the company earnings call. "We expect in the next quarter to do some open betas and closed betas that will help a lot on the players to actually know what the game is and what it can become.
"We are very confident it will excite gamers a lot," he added.
There's no date yet for the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open and closed betas, but the expected launch of the game will be on Mar. 7, 2017. There should be more news in the weeks to come regarding these programs.
