Recording artist Geoffrey Andrews is releasing his new single "O Praise The Name (Anástasis)" out today on all digital platforms, including Spotify, iTunes and Amazon. The single is a new recording of the song originally written and recorded by Hillsong Worship in 2015 and is a timely release just ahead of the Easter season, sharing in both the death and resurrection of Christ.

Perhaps best known for his powerful vocals, Andrews says he has received flattering comparisons to internationally renowned artists such as Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli, and Andrews says his hope is to follow in their footsteps in reaching a wider international audience.

The Nashville-based singer first started to garner attention in 2013, when satellite radio service Sirius XM Radio played his holiday song covers "White Christmas" and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home," and has since gone on to tour with Christian artists such as for King & Country, Selah, Lauren Daigle and Point of Grace. Later this year, he is slated to release a new Christmas album which he recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios (formerly EMI Studios) in London.

Struggling with self-confidence from an early stage, the vocalist says success as an artist is more than just a strong voice and that the need for having confidence in yourself is crucial. Andrews was born with bilateral clubfoot deformity and as if that was not enough he was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age eight.

"When you're labeled in school as 'different' by your peers, it's a hard road to travel," he shares. "I was laughed at, punched and spit on by almost everyone. But, I believe God brought me out of those situations. And, I believe going through the difficult times made me stronger today. I also have a big heart for children who may also be experiencing what I went through back then. My hope is to encourage them and their families to keep pushing forward in life, and not give up."
