Looks like the new year will be filled with different love, new places, and fresh adventures for our favorite ABC soap. The drama at "General Hospital" got intense last week when Jason and Liz partied at Metro Court and they were caught by Sam.

Liz, who has always been matured, was ready with an apology but Franco stopped her, saying that Jason should say sorry instead. Later in the night, Liz confessed to Obrecht that she wanted to head home but her boss made her stay. Outside, Julian told Alexis that he couldn't live without her. Julian got down on one knee to propose and the exhilarated Alexis was quick to say yes.

Meanwhile at Crichton-Clark, Patrick arrives with Robert and Anna to co-erce Jerry to reveal Robin's location.

The cunning Jerry first told the group that she's dead, but as soon as the three were disarmed by his men, he told them that they can meet her for one last time before he finishes them all. Later, Anna and Robert puts out a fight and wins over Jerry. Robert tells Patrick to find Robin, and the later goes to the dungeons.

Patrick sees Robin and cried telling her that he loves her. She admits taking a drug to stage her death, and tells Patrick that she loves him too. Anna and Robert followed and the group talked about going to Paris.

Patrick reveals that he had broken up with Sam, and he has all the time and freedom to catch up with Robin.

Meanwhile, Hayden and Nikolas arrives at Metro Court  and the latter taunts and hits Jason. Jason attempts to defend himself but was lunged by Nikolas, who went over the edge of the terrace. Nikolas's condition becomes critical, but as soon as he gains consciousness, he will use the incident to put Jason down.

This week, Robin returns to her old life, and Patrick opens up to Sam about his feelings for her and Robin. Sam accepts that she will lose Patrick, and decides to wait for Jason.

Moreover, Nikolas get suspicious of Jason's actions at the Metro Court. Robin encounters Jason in a significant location. Meanwhile, while Johnny and Lulu are crafting a plan that may hurt Valerie.

On Dec. 31, ABC is airing an encore episode while on Jan. 1, the show is pre-empted due to NCAA football. 

"General Hospital" airs Monday to Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
