Viewers and fans of the upcoming episode of 'General Hospital' can expect see some pretty serious drama as the fates of both Nina and Franco will finally be revealed. Spoilers for the next episodes of 'GH' come from an insider scoop via IBTimes.

Fans of the soap know that Nina and Franco are both behind bars, and now it appears that it's time for their fates to be revealed. Stepping aside for a moment, the December 19 will also showcase Kiki's support of Morgan.

According to the official synopsis posted by TV Guide, "Franco and Nina learn their fates; Kiki comforts Morgan; Maxie gets some promising news."

It seems likely that most of the episode will focus on Nina and Franco, but evidently, Maxie's storyline will also be thrown into the picture.

Drawing from the previous 'General Hospital' episode, Franco and Nina collided as they were put in cells opposite each other. Immediately, Franco asks about the sudden relocation, and is informed that it's simply temporary.

"Shouldn't she be with other female prisoners?," Franco asks the nearby guard, who replies that it's only fitting that two partners in crime be reunited behind bars.

However, Franco immediately notices that Nina doesn't seem up to speed and appears out of it. He's told that she's been given sedatives because of an intense altercation she's had with Ava.

On that note, Nina tells Franco that they are only giving her drugs to crush her fighting spirit. Franco goes ahead and reassures Nina, by telling her that they still have a shot at a life together after all of this blows over.

Stepping into the events of the upcoming episode of 'GH' the fates of these star crossed lovers will finally be revealed. Fans of the duo can only hope that they'll be set free and begin life anew.
