"Gears of War" will have its open beta some time around next month and as a reward to its fans, they will be able to enjoy a privilege of being one of the firsts to play the game.

According to Microsoft (via Tech Times), the avid fans of Gears of War will be receiving something from the game developers. "Beginning on April 18, fans who've played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 will begin to receive tokens in waves for early access to the beta... Following the conclusion of early access on April 24, all qualifying Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One will be invited to join the beta until it ends on May 1."

It was also said that Microsoft will begin analyzing who qualifies from March 1 to April 11.

"Just log on to Xbox Live and play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 by 11 p.m. PT, April 11," Microsoft added, explaining how gamers could qualify to the open beta.

The open beta's main purpose is to test the game and see if there will still be some adjustments needed to be made prior to the game's official release some time around the holidays this year.

Adam Fletcher, one of the director of the game's developer, The Coalition, said that they really need the gamer's feedbacks. "This isn't a demo," he said Fletcher. "We are looking for feedback so we can make changes before launch. We are also testing our back end."
