'Gears Of War 4' News: Limited Edition Xbox One S Bundle Is ‘Shield’ Against Swarm Attacks?

Fans are set to enjoy The Coalition's "Gears of War 4," as Microsoft has confirmed the title's limited edition bundle, which was described by the studio head as a shield against the Swarm.

"Gears of War 4" is set to have a limited edition 2TB bundle, GSM Arena has learned. As per the publication, the said limited edition bundle is a variant of the Xbox One S, which Microsoft previously announced.

The bundle is regarded as the very first custom variant of the Xbox One S and it features a deep crimson color with scratch and blood splatter design, along with the "Gears of War" Omen. Such scratches were actually made with the use of laser, according to The Coalition head Rod Fergusson.

In his interview with Mashable, Fergusson said that they had talked a lot about the theme of reclaimed beauty in the world and the impact the brital Swarm they had been having on it. He said that the laser etched scratches, the deepest they had ever done on a console, represented using the console as a shield blocking Swarm attacks.

Also, the bundle includes the updated Xbox Wireless Controller, which promises range enhancement with its vertical stand. Moreover, the bundle includes an online copy of the title, together with the game code for the Windows 10 version. Microsoft's "Gears of War 4" limited edition 2TB bundle costs $449, which is $50 higher than the original Xbox One S.

Overall, The Coalition's "Gears of War 4" is set to be released for the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on Oct.11.
