'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 News, Spoilers: Next Season Shows Sibling Rivalry Between Jon Snow And Sansa

The sibling rivalry between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark will be one of the storylines that fans of "Game of Thrones" should watch out for in the upcoming season.

The season 6 finale saw Jon Snow being proclaimed as the King of the North, following his victory at the Battle of Winterfell. However, Snow did not acknowledge and give due recognition to Sansa and Peytr "Little Finger" Baelish, without whose help during the battle his victory would not have been possible.

Rumors have it that Snow's failure to acknowledge Sansa will spark the rivalry between them in season 7.

According to actor Kit Harrington, dysfunctional families and different levels of acceptance have always been the major themes of the series since it started. Since the beginning, Catelyn Stark has never liked Jon Snow because he was the fruit of her husband's affair. While the Stark siblings did not feel any indifference with him before, it looks like the story will be different next season.

In the previous installments of the series, Sansa did not let her mother's dislike for Jon affect her love for her brother. However, Jon's perceived inadequacy as a leader will make Sansa think twice about her brother. The development of this rivalry is what viewers should anticipate in the upcoming season.

Another thing that fans should expect in season 7 is Jon's family history. Fans have yet to know if Jon Snow will accept Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targayen once he finds out that they are his real parents.

HBO has yet to announce when the new episodes of "Game of Thrones" are going to air.
