‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Spoilers, News: Kit Harington Hints Jon Snow’s Return in New Season

'Game of Thrones' Season 5 finale ended with a haunting shot showing Jon Snow (Kit Harington) lying on the snow, while blood seeped out from his body reddening the ground after he was stabbed by the Night's Watch members. Although Harington claimed in previous interviews that his character was dead, recently the actor hinted that Jon Snow may be returning to the Season 6 of the hit show on HBO.

Christian Today reports that during a recent interview with the Dutch magazine Humo, when Harington was asked how many seasons he has signed on for the show, the 28-year-old actor replied, "Nice try. I can't talk about that. Let's just say that 'Game of Thrones' will remain a part of my life for a while."

Meanwhile, Harington added that he will probably be in his thirties when it's over, and said that "the day I'm no longer on 'Thrones' is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."

These statements have given rise to speculations that the actor is perhaps returning for another season in the series, filming for which began in July when Harington was spotted heading to Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the cast and crew were filming some scenes of the upcoming season. 'Game of Thrones'-centric website Watchers on the Wall claimed that Harington was on the same flight as Tom Wlaschiha, who portrays Jaqen H'ghar on the show. In fact, photos of the actor posted on the website showed him sporting his hair in a bun, which further fueled speculation that Harington is keeping his hair long for the role.

In August, the same website reported that Harington was again seen in Belfast and that he posed for a picture with a fan on Aug. 20. In the photo, the actor seen is wearing a baseball cap to cover his head, but it is still evident that the actor has not changed the typical hairstyle of his character. Watchers on the Wall further stated that the actor was seen on many occasions in Belfast, and the website has described his return to the show as "The Worst-Kept Secret in Westeros."

'Game of Thrones' Season 6 premieres in the spring of 2016.
