'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Release Date, News: Spoilers Revealed in Trailer?

'Game of Thrones' started filming its Season 5 last Fall, and already fans are buzzing about its air date. Now, a new trailer is dropping hints about what's in store for the new episodes.

Last we saw, Tyrion made it onto a ship heading out of the capital, leaving Cersei and her son, Tommen, to sit on the Iron Throne. Meanwhile, power-hungry Tyrells and Margaery are eyeing the cursed seat with cunning. Sansa Stark is painting her own throne off in the middle of Westeros, and Arya is without her Hound in the middle of nowhere. Farther North, Jon Snow and Bran have just barely managed to survive. Our favorite Khalessi isn't in a much better position, forced to put her beloved dragons in a cage.

The latest trailer displayed the cryptic image of a sword, a coin, a boat ride, a hand, and two doors. It is possible that Arya, symbolized by the sword, could be arriving at the House of Black and White. After all, Arya's sword is named "Needle," and the image was of a fiery sword.

Kit Harington has hinted that hischaracter, Jon Snow, will have a major storyline in the fifth season. He told The Independent Magazine that he was "on set every day in Belfast." Could he have been secretly portrayed in the teasers? The 11-second trailer is hard to analyze, although it is a different set of images from the last trailer. The official trailer will be arriving on Thursday, January 29th.

HBO has recently announced that 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 will premiere on April 12th.
