'Game of Thrones' News: Kit Harington Spotted on Flight to Belfast Hinting Return to Series
The debate as to whether 'Game of Thrones' character Jon Snow will return in the upcoming season continues on with the development of a new picture of actor Kit Harrington.
According to the fan who took the photo, Harrington was on the same flight as her to Belfast, Ireland, the place where they shoot 'Game of Thrones.'
The picture has been since been taken down, but the actor on his way to the city doesn't absolutely confirm too much, yet one can speculate.
"Belfast is home to the "Game of Thrones" production offices, and a handful of the cast arrived there recently for the Season 6 table read. Everyone from Emilia Clarke to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been spotted arriving for the script read-through. Previously, there were murmurs on Reddit that Harington was seen in Belfast by fans and reportedly told one admirer that he could not take any photos (Hmm). Now that we have proof the actor was in Belfast, it can only mean a handful of things," writes Huffington Post.
A handful of actors from the show has insisted that he won't be coming back, along with Harrington himself, however the HBO drama is infamous for its surprises.
Director David Nutter has even revealed a story on how he had to tell President Obama that Jon Snow was indefinitely dead.
"[President Obama] turned to me, put his hand on my shoulder, and said, 'You didn't kill Jon Snow, did you?'" Nutter told the website. "I said, 'Jon Snow is deader than dead.'"
If this is a hoax then the showrunners are definitely going all out to really deceive its audience. We'll all know for sure when 'Game of Thrones' returns next year.
