'Game of Thrones' New Video Game Release Date News: TellTale Games to Announce Sequel
Telltale Games has recently released the details regarding the much-awaited sequel to the video game version of the popular HBO series 'Game of Thrones'. The developers have announced that they will release a new edition of the game based on author George R. R. Martin's novels soon, and it's going to be called 'The Lost Lords'.
Christian Today reports that the upcoming episode of the video game will be based on the events in 'Iron From Ice', the hugely popular first installment of the game. In 'Iron From Ice', players are allowed to portray any of the five characters from the House of Forrester.
In addition, they need to use their preferred character for the entire six episodes of the game. Although the HBO version makes no mention of the House of Forrester, it was subsequently introduced by Martin in his books.
Telltale Games opted to develop each video game based on a particular episode with a view to allow the players to enjoy a completely new story every time.
While Telltale Games has yet to provide any information regarding the precise date when the game will be released, it is expected that the developer will announce the news sometime in January 2015.
For now, there are numerous online reports that suggest another company has developed a new "dark" role playing game, also based on 'Game of Thrones'. According to these reports, developer Big Bad Wolf, the team that helped develop games like the 'World of Warcraft' and 'Styx: Master of Shadows' is supposedly working on the new game.
Nevertheless, in the absence of any evidence regarding the purported new dark role playing game, such reports remain vague at this point.
