Galaxy Tab A NOOK News: Barnes & Nobles Partnership Allows Access To 4 Million Books

Pound for Pound, there's no difference between Galaxy Tab A NOOK and Galaxy Tab A in terms of specs. But the partnership between Samsung and Barnes & Nobles allows the user access to a library that will take 10 lifetimes to finish.

According to Techno Buffalo, those who will buy Samsung's new offering will access over 4 million books and 80,000 audiobooks, newspapers, magazines and graphic novels, which they can read on the 7-inch display screen. And if they are tired of reading they can always listen to music via its FM radio channels.

The Galaxy Tab A NOOK is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop right out of the box. The 1.5 GB RAM is enough for the multi-media uses of the device. Meanwhile, the 8 GB internal storage may not be sufficient to store all the books, but it's expandable up to 200 GB via Micro SD.

The good news is the Galaxy Tab A NOOK is also quite cheap, considering the many benefits, at just $139.99. Those who already own the previous gen can just add $99 if they will trade in their devices.

Meanwhile, members of Barnes & Nobles can also participate in a promo that will allow them to get a free cover, which typically costs them $39.95 otherwise, a report from Tech Times said.

Fred Argir, Barnes & Nobles digital officer, said that the NOOK "is the perfect device for customers who are looking for a leading tablet that combines the latest features and a great reading experience at an unbeatable price."
