Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Release Date Rumors: Samsung Likely to Launch New Tablet at CES 2015
Apple has been successful in gaining a sizable portion of the smartphone market following the release of the iPhone 6. Now, the release of the iPhone 6 Plus, the new iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 has helped the Cupertino-based tech giant dominate the tablet and phablet market too. This, in fact, has posed a threat to Samsung, which is reportedly considering launching its 2015 Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 before it's scheduled.
In fact, there are numerous saying reports that Samsung has had a miserable sales record in 2014.
According to Christian Today, the 2015 Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is basically an upgraded edition of the existing model that comes with a large 12.2-inch Super Clear LCD display coupled with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolutions.
This upcoming device packs an octa-core 1.9 GHz Exynos 5 processor together with 3 GB of RAM. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and 9500 mAh battery. In addition, this tablet comes in two variants of internal storage- 32 GB and 64 GB and has a microSD slot of up to 64 GB.
Since Samsung unveiled the 2014 version at the Consumer Electronics Show this year, there are speculations that the South Korean tech manufacturer may launch its successor at the same event scheduled for January 2015.
The website reports that currently Samsung is developing the next generation Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, which is likely to be released soon. According to Phone Arena, they noticed an unannounced tablet on Samsung's website. The website reports that while Samsung has named the device, it is yet to reveal the specs and features of the forthcoming tablet. In addition, it is not sure whether Samsung leaked the information intentionally, or it was a mere accident.
According to rumors, the upcoming Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 10.1 inch LCD screen display along with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 800 and boasts an S Pen stylus. However, Samsung has yet to confirm any of these rumors.
