For those now in withdrawal after seeing 'Furious 7,' will now have another date to patiently wait for. Universal Pictures has already announced the release date of the next movie within the franchise to be on April 14^th, 2017. They made this announcement at Las Vegas' CinemaCon.

Vin Diesel accompanied the statement by saying, "We're going to make the best movie you've ever seen."

The plot for the movie hasn't yet been discussed, but we should expect the same blood-pumping action that the other entries have graced us with.

"It was also previously revealed that the upcoming stories would focus more on heist type elements, so I imagine that's the same direction they'll take. It's been working for them so far, so they might as well not stop now," writes Geek Tyrant.

Details on the movie are fairly scarce at the moment, but fans now have another date to mark on their calendar for the premiere of 'Furious 8.'
