'Furious 7' Release Date, Soundtrack News: Prince Royce Debuts 'My Angel' Single for New 'Fast & Furious' Film

In a recent episode of Telemundo's 'Al Rojo Vivo', singer Prince Royce said that his music video for his single "My Angel" was released on YouTube in anticipation for its spot on the Furious 7 soundtrack.

The music video featured Royce driving around a desert surrounded by cars and women. The music video also featured clips from the upcoming film Fast and Furious 7. "My Angel" is the first song to be released from Royce's new English-language full length album, which was produced through RCA Records in the United States.

Royce said in the interview, "The sound is a combination of many types of music . . . pop, urban R&B and of course, I incorporated some Latin flavor. No bachata on this album, but I am working on my next Spanish album as well, so the bachata fans will have plenty of new music from me coming."

The seventh film of the Fast and Furious franchise is set to release in theaters on April 3, 2015. It will star Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, and the late Paul Walker as Dominic Toretto, Luke Hobbs, Letty Ortiz, and Brian O'Conner. Furious 7 is directed by James Wan.

The story takes place after the crew's defeat of Owen Shaw and his group. Everyone is living happily in the United States but Owen's older brother, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), is seeking revenge for his brother's death. Dominic and his crew learn of a member's death as well and they set out to avenge their friend's death before Deckard finds them first.

Royce's "My Angel" single is now up for purchase on iTunes as well as the several other songs for the Fast and Furious 7 soundtrack.
