'Fuller House' Cast News: Olsen Twins Will Not Return to Reboot

While this may not come to be news for many fans, the Olsen twins have officially announced that they will not be returning for Netflix's 'Fuller House.'

The two played one character on the show, starting at the tender age of 9 months. It was a series that can be attributed to their rise in stardom.

Executive producer Robert L. Boyett released this statement to EW:

"Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family. It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House."

It isn't a secret that in the recent years the twins have rose to the status of multi-millionaires thanks to their endeavors in the fashion industry and various other undertakings. The two haven't acted regularly on a TV show in a number of years, and it wasn't suspected that they'd be interested in the show. They've even gone as far to state that they didn't even know the spin-off series was in development.

Cast member John Stamos took offense to their statement and recently tweeted it was "b******t" before it was deleted.

Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), and Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey), have all signed on for the reboot.

"Premiering on Netflix in 2016, the series finds D.J. Tanner-Fuller employed as a vet, pregnant and recently widowed, and living in San Francisco. Stephanie, now an aspiring musician, and single mother Kimmy - along with Kimmy's feisty teenage daughter Ramona - all move in to help take care of D.J.'s two boys, the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max, and her soon-to-arrive baby," writes THR.
